Roswell Robo Squad Robotics Internship Program
The Roswell Robo Squad Robotics Internship Program is a 12-week, hands-on experience designed for high school, college, and graduate students interested in STEM, robotics, education, and leadership. Interns work directly with our robotics teams, assist in workshops and competitions, and help grow our programs while gaining practical experience.
What Interns Will Do
Interns will:
Gain hands-on experience in robotics, coding, and engineering education
Develop leadership, mentorship, and teamwork skills
Support student robotics projects and competitions
Learn project management, event coordination, and community outreach
Build a professional portfolio and STEM network for future academic and career opportunities
This internship gives participants the chance to make a real impact on students while gaining skills and experience that prepare them for success in STEM, education, and related fields.
Internship Focus Areas
Interns may select up to three focus areas:
1. Robotics & 3D Design (Hybrid)
Work with 3D modeling, prototyping, and fabrication to support student robotics projects and team builds
2. STEM Education & Outreach (Hybrid)
Assist with after-school programs, community STEM events, and workshops, helping students learn coding and robotics hands-on
3. Media & Marketing (Hybrid or Remote)
Create digital content, manage social media, and showcase student achievements in robotics and STEM
4. Program Support & Grants (Remote)
Help with data collection, reporting, and research to strengthen program impact and support funding efforts
5. Community Partnerships (Hybrid)
Connect with local businesses and organizations to expand resources and support for students and robotics programs
Some overlap between roles may occur, giving interns experience in multiple areas.
